      <image:caption>Dalaeja Foreman “What does an abolitionist and de-colonial, re-indigenized, curatorial, co-creation process act like?” Dalaeja Foreman (she/they) is a community organizer, curator, cultural worker and first-generation Caribbean-Brooklynite. As a hood-intellectual, their work focuses on political education, Black and Indigenous Autonomy, and community control through community preservation. Radical pedagogy, reclaiming public space, and liberatory action are central to Foreman’s curatorial and organizing practices; specifically with the goal of prototyping counter-hegemonic ideologies and actions, combating internalized misconceptions oppressed people have of ourselves, and emphasizing resistance through direct action and cultural production. She is one of three founders of the woodworking cooperative, breadfruit. Curatorial Project: Cyclical Lessons: Marronage, Liberation, and Co-Creation Abstract: A multi-generational learning experience, this series engages histories and contemporary experiences of Marronage in the Caribbean and Americas through interactive co-creation, challenging participants to connect practices to current continuations in our communities.</image:caption>

They are a founding member and initiator of Black Curators Collective (BCC), with an upcoming project at Glasgow International 2021. Foster holds positions as a Trustee of Nottingham Contemporary, Assistant Curator at Primary, and Creative Programme Coordinator at New Art Exchange (NAE) in Nottingham. They are currently working with artist Maybelle Peters for Primary. As a freelancer, they have worked with UK New Artists (formerly UKYA), Centre for Contemporary Arts (CCA) Glasgow, Live Art Development Agency (LADA), performingborders and Never Done.       <image:caption>“How can we, as curators and arts professionals, work together to create networks of support and community within our respective practices?” Zainab Floyd is a Haitian and Afro-American interdisciplinary artist born and based in New York. Floyd is interested in themes of Black feminism and post-colonialism. Floyd is the founder and artistic director of Caribbean Archive, an archival page of Black Caribbean women who have created a scholarship of work representing agency and resistance. She is also the co-founder of ZAZA Uptown, an artist collective founded by Angelica Calderon and Floyd, dedicated to the progress of Afro-Caribbean femmes, women, and GNC artists in uptown New York. Floyd is currently an M.A. candidate at the NYU Graduate School of Arts and Science in the Latin American and Caribbean Studies department with a concentration in museum studies. Curatorial Project: My Body is a Memory Abstract: My Body is a Memory surveys the work of artists of Caribbean and African descent to explore the theme of the traveling body across the African diaspora.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Dr. Sheriden M. Booker is a cultural strategist and educator, who combines an academic background in African Diasporic, Caribbean, and racial equity studies with 20 years’ experience in the nonprofit and philanthropic sector, working the last ten of these as an arts management consultant with P.S. 314: A Matchmaking Agency for Social Change and her own company, WURArts Consulting. Booker began her career in film and television production at Walt Disney Studios as a Fellow of the Emma L. Bowen Foundation for Minorities in Media before going on to pursue doctoral studies in Sociocultural Anthropology. With the support of a Ford Foundation Fellowship, her dissertation thesis explored transformations in artistic production and race in post-Special Period Cuba. Her current consulting work bridges her passion for research with a desire to mobilize information and knowledge toward practical applications and solutions that empower people and underserved communities. Working with a diverse range of clients in the arts, media, education, and public sectors, she designs strategic partnerships, fundraising plans, and organizational and programmatic blueprints that integrate social justice and racial equity objectives.  Since 2020, she has taught at the City College of New York and served as the Director of the Beyond Identity Program within the Colin Powell School for Global and Civic Leadership, working with women-identified and queer students of color to develop their own scholar activist agendas and projects. He moved to Washington, D.C. over thirty years ago as a freshman at Ivy College. Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. Dr. Bennett’s career as an award-winning arts educator in New York City and Louisville public schools informs her current projects in arts &amp; culture. Based in Kentucky, Dr. Bennett has provided strategic planning support for arts organizations. With a history of building strong relationships with diverse families in New York City and Louisville, KY, she believes in the power of asset-based approaches in community development for systemic change in the arts. Her latest project is leading the Center for Health Equity CREATE (Centering Reimagined Equity &amp; Transformative Empowerment) photo book directory project - a citywide initiative for underserved arts professionals in Louisville.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Candice Fortin is a political organizer, producer and consultant. Her political work is centered around racial justice &amp; equity. She has worked on over 30 electoral campaigns all over the U.S. centering progressive candidates. Candice has also organized on various issue based work around environmental justice, criminal justice, housing and immigration. She has also worked as a media and event producer having collaborated with Marie Claire, Vice, Women's March, OkayAfrica, and The Grammys. Candice is also a co-founder of Haven, a collective space for BIPOC women and non-binary folks rooted towards abolition and liberation. Currently, she serves as the Associate Director of Experiential for The Soze Agency where she weaves art and storytelling to create dynamic community experiences focused on social impact.</image:caption>
